now from within XFree 4.1.0.

Today I tested (w/mp-cvs) starting from framebuffer-console and I get very 
funny result:
all over the screen (besides movie area) there is a coloured checkerboard 
pattern that looks like a test picture and part of the movie is not displayed 
(cut away from the top).
Another strange thing is that for a 640x272 movie it chooses 720x480 (aka 
NTSC) mode, which is not scaled on the lcd, instead of better 640x480 mode.

(Btw. nice to know the chip can do 720x576 res, I'll use that with X the next 
time I watch divx on tv, instead of too-big 800x600 :)
