[MPlayer-users] Problems with playing asf file

I can't play an .asf file with either mplayer nor avifile-player.
But what seems the biggest problem to me is that I can't get any information
about this file. Utility 'file' only says its ASF and I couldn't find any
ASF utils via either google or sourceforge.

How can I find what the problem is ?
If it's missing codec, or the file broken or if it's software bug ?

Do some asfutils exist ?
