[MPlayer-users] OT? Joining avi and mpg files

Posting multipart mpg and avi files seems to be the
norm.  Using cat I have no problem (it appears)
joining mutlipart mpg files, avi files, however,
although they appear by looking at the file size to be
cat'd quit at the end of the first segment.  Is there
a special way to handle these files so they will
combine correctly?
