good question, Nick can you pust verbose output of mplayer? (only init don't 
need the vo_vesa output), need to see the aspect value from header and stuff.

why? it's left to vo plugs wheter they scale to the values in d_Width and 
d_height, for passing screenres/mode -screenw and -screenh should be used.
