[Mplayer-users] Performance dropped significantly for unknown reason...

I've been getting the same message (only after watching a
full movie though), as well as frame drops (see my earlier
post).
In my case, I'm currently using a different version of XFree
(4.0.3 instead of 4.0.2) and a different kernel (2.4.4 instead
of 2.2.18). I'm not using any pp, and still get this with a
900MHz Athlon!
Downgrading didn't help me either.
Could this be an issue with kernel 2.4.x versions?
