[Mplayer-users] compilation of MPlayer on Mandrake 8.1

Hi,
I've reported it on this list before, see the mail with the subject "cannot
compile 20010924" for the details. The problem doesn't seem to come from
Mandrake's gcc-3.0.1 compiler but from the glibc version used (2.2.4-6mdk) by
Mandrake.
I've compiled MPlayer with the same compiler version against glibc-2.2.1 and
it worked (but I couldn't run it, is there somebody who has used Mandrake's
glibc_lsb ?)

So is there somebody who managed to compile against glibc-2.2.4 ?
