Hello,

I hacked together a small patch that allows mplayer to
receive MPEG program streams via RTP multicast or
unicast. (per RFC 2250 - program streams with no
packetization restrictions). Configure with
--enable-streaming, and then type for example, mplayer
rtp://225.1.2.3:8888.

I used RTP code from the dvbstream project. Patch is
against MPlayer-0.50pre1.

Hey, is anyone working on support for playing MPEG
transport streams?

Regards,
Brian
