[Mplayer-users] Building Mplayer with Gui under Redhat 7.x

If some people are having trouble building mplayer with the new beta Gui 
under Redhat, then try this trick.... It worked for me......

Go to your mplayer source directory and:

pico Gui/mplayer/Makefile
remove -mwide-multiply from the OPTIMIZATION = line

then

./configure --enable-new-gui --disable-gcc-checking
make
make install

(Don't forget to get a skin!!!!)
