[MPlayer-users] encoding from vob

i've got an entire movie stream dumped with -streamdump, and it playsback 
absolutely fine, (4.5gb in one file) but enconding it ALWAYS quits after 
145 seconds wherever it is started from, i.e. -ss 123 STILL stops after
encoding 145 seconds... and i've plenty of diskspace...

any ideas?
