[MPlayer-users] maybe initialize failure

hi guys, 

i downloaded mplayer-20020416, then configure,make, make install
and wanted to see a asf-file (i only found mplayer and xtheather to
see this format) but with starting i got folling messages

i looked inside ~/.mplayer and i only found config with zero size or

so i have to set my own options ?

maybe you can help me .
is something wrong with my hardware or system-properties?
