[MPlayer-users] divx 5.0 vs divx 5.0.1

hi people,

i remeber that by the time there was only divx 5.0, libavcodec would spit
messages about it's incompliancy with mpeg4 standard, and workarounds being
done. now that version 5.0.1 movies float around i don't see this anymore. i
checked the sources and indeed the codec only checks if the version is
5.0.0. does this mean that the new divx is 'fixed' or you just didn't make
it check for it too?
