[MPlayer-users] Mpegpes problem?

Hi all,

I have been using Mplayer (0.6 and later cvs updates) on my Hollywood+ dvd 
card (em8300-0.12-0 drivers) for around 6 months.  It has been great except 
for slightly out of sync A/V.

So I gave 0.9pre1 a try.  I find that when I use xmga output everything is 
great, but if I try and use dxr3 output (with -vc mpegpes) it starts up as 
normal the locks up totally as soon as it prints "start playing ...".

I cannot send a proper bug report as I have to do a full reset.

However, if I use -vo dxr3:fame (or -vc mpeg12) instead it works.  But, 
picture quaility is worse (blocky) on TV.

does anyone have any suggestions as to why mplayer locks up when using 
mpepes ?
