Hi again,

I thought maybe a log a mplayer's output would be useful in understanding the
problem. So here it is. (The explanation of the problem is copied at the bottom
of the message) One more precision: I tried accidentally to do this while xawtv
was running (and thus locking /dev/video), and it didn't change anything (no
message like "couldn't open device" ...) !

And there, the black window doesn't react, and the CPU is a 99,... % ...
