[MPlayer-users] Problem with sound

regardning sound on
MPlayer 0.90pre2.2-2.96 (C) 2000-2002 Arpad Gereoffy (see DOCS!)

I'm using ltsp (www.ltsp.org) and have no sound using mplayer.
My setup is a diskless client with SB live and a server without soundcard.
It seems that mplayer tries to open /dev/dsp on the sourver instead of
sending the sound data to my client.

with mpg123 and realplayer the sound works perfecly as they seems to use
the 'setenv LD_PRELOAD /lib/libaudiooss.so.1.0' variable.

Is ther any way to force mplayer to do that as well?
