[MPlayer-users] best viedo card for Mplayer FB/X11?

Hi
 
What ist he best video card to playback videos with mplayer to FB on a TV
out?
 
I want to make a little standalone PC with a atx flex board and I have
several chipsets to choose from.
:
 
SIS 315 VGA Graphic engine
S3 Savage 4
S3 Savage
 
Has anyone tried these gfx cards yet with Framebuffer? Or have I to use x11
instead?
No other way to playback dvd/svcd/vcd/divx in the console then FB? Doesn't
SVGAlib work?
 
Any help because I want to choose one board very soon..:for a standalone
divx player :-)
