i'm not as good in C ( i'm a lot better in c++) but i could of course
fix them...but it looks stupid to me to send a patch to correct
warnings....

and  i know that a warning about a cast can be ignored  :-)

but there is a difference between can be ignored and should be
ignored..:-)
