[MPlayer-users] -ao pcm...

hi,

when i extract audio with -ao pcm -aofile something.wav,

mplayer says
"
PCM: Info: fastest dumping is achieved with -vo null -hardframedrop.
"

isn't faster specifiing -vc null too? because i tried and it looks like
it's faster with this? as far as i understand this way ( -vc null ) we
don't even decode the frames..

am i correct?
