[MPlayer-users] fatal error: Error opening/initializing the selected video_out (-vo) device!

Hi,

Ive been using MPlayer-0.90pre5 for a while now. This always worked fine.
Tonight i downloaded MPlayer-0.90pre6 and now i cant play any files in 
gui-mode anymore :(. It gives the error mentioned in the subject.

I normally use this line to run my mplayer:

mplayer -vo sdl:x11 -gui -vm -framedrop -slang es

I also tried to play a rm file with this new version but this file wasnt 
played properly video was running behind.

anyone who can help me out here

ps

in the preferences screen i can select X11 or XV and 2 other -vo devices but 
i cant select that i wanna use sdl or any other devices here..
