[MPlayer-users] [BUG] Wrong subtitles with mencoder

I have a problem with encoding subtitles. It happens in a part of
Tomb Raider DVD. I uploaded it as 'subtitle.dump' to incoming.

When playing this part with 'mplayer -aid 128 -sid 0 subtitle.dump'
(german language and a german subtitle) everything is fine. It shows
1 subtitle at the beginning, which is correct.

When encoding this part to AVI with 'mencoder -aid 128 -sid 0 -o
subtitle.avi -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4 subtitle.dump' the
resulting file contains the correct subtitle at the beginning, but
the same one appears again near the end of the file. When encoding
the full film, the wrong subtitle stays for minutes, until it is
replaced by the next correct subtitle.

Again: the wrong subtitle appears only with mencoder, not with
mplayer.

Version is MPlayer CVS-020806-22:38-2.95.4
