[MPlayer-users] How do I choose audio channel for .mpg files?

Hi all,

This might be a simple problem, but seems to get me quite frustated.
Whenever I run a vcd (.dat file) or .mpg file, mplayer tells me that
there are 2 channels of audio:

Cache fill: 0.00% (0 bytes) Detected MPEG-PS file format!
VIDEO:  MPEG1  352x240  (aspect 12)  29.97 fps  1437.5 kbps (179.7 kbyte/s)
Detected audio codec: [mp3] afm:1 (MPEG layer-2, layer-3)
Opening audio decoder: [mp3lib] MPEG layer-2, layer-3
AUDIO: 44100 Hz, 2 ch, sfmt: 0x10 (2 bps), ratio: 24000->176400 (192.0 kbit)
==========================================================================
AO: [sdl] 44100Hz 2ch Signed 16-bit (Little-Endian)
SDL: Samplerate: 44100Hz Channels: Stereo Format Signed 16-bit
(Little-Endian)
Start playing...

My question is, how do I choose the audio channel I want. A lot of vcds
from Asia
have different language streaming from each channel hence the need to choose
the audio channel. I'm running it with options -ao sdl because that's
the only one
I find to work under my RH 7.3 system. I've tried -aid 0 to -aid 5 and
found out that
only 0 works (with both audio channel streaming).

Cheers,
Hesty
