I just applied the patch and recorded a 1:15:00 movie (yuy2) of an NTSC
signal.  Everything came out great!  Thanks much for the update.  I was
starting to think that I would not be able to use only mplayer as the
back-end of my new home entertainment box, but it looks like I can.

Thanks much for this development.
