Hi.
Subtitles written in Korean are shown like `______'
even if I give the -unicode option since some point after MPlayer-0.90pre5.
I saw a person who was experiencing the same problem as me:
http://www.mplayerhq.hu/pipermail/mplayer-users/2001-June/002258.html
This problem has not been fixed until MPlayer-20020815.
But I found a clue.
It happens only when I give the -gui option or run gmplayer.
mplayer without -gui option displays Korean letters all right.
Hope this helps fix the problem.
I am using:
GeForce2 MX200
Linux kernel v2.4.18 on Pentium 4
Debian testing distribution ``sarge''
gcc version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease)
configure options for MPlayer-20020815:
$ ./configure --enable-gui --with-xvidcore=/usr/local/lib/libxvidcore.so
