Works for me, although the only MPEG's I've
concatenated were first ripped from the two or three
SVCD images for a movie I've downloaded.

If the MPEG files are from different source (and
therefore prolly have different header info, bitrates,
etc.), then I don't believe they can be concatenated. 
Is that the case with your MPEG files?
