none of the core developers could reproduce it

anyway, if you play multiple files or file in a long loop, then there may be
memleak, due to codec uninit problems, especially with the binaryonly codecs.
ie. no clean way to uninit win32 DLLs, but they will re-loaded for next file
so after a while they will eat your mem. it's known...

but the original post with this subject was about playing a single big file
resulting out-of-memory problem, and even more stranger: memory wasn't
free'd when he quit mplayer. it may be a kernel problem or dunno...

but, the most important: no one of you sent a proper bugreport with enough
info to reproduce it.
