[MPlayer-users] Encoding YV12 avi files

Hello everyone, 

I am trying to encode YV12 avi files using mencoder. I cannot figure
this out for the life of me and when I try running an uncompressed RGB
stream through a YV12 filter as an attempt to create the needed file
mencoder core dumps on me.

I heard there used to be a '-ovc raw' which might be able to do what I
need but that it has been taken out.


Anyone care to shed a little light as to how I can create a YV12 file
out of a VOB file and whether the raw output still exists?
