[MPlayer-users] Neomagic audio OSS delay problem

First of all, thanks for that impressive program.
I'm experimenting these little problem since version 0.50, the next one to the  
0.17 IdegCounter. The problem appears when playing every file with oss as 
audio output method. Every file, even little MPEGs that put CPU at 30% load 
or less, is played without problems, except that the video isn't played 
smoothly, it's played in bursts. I explain myself: you've got played every 
frame that the video has, it's not like the effect of using framedrop when 
CPU is at high load. The audio works well, and there is no A-V desync. So the 
problem is only that video is played in bursts, each one every second or so.
Since I couldn't use oss as sound output, I began to use SDL audio output 
without a problem. But I think that in my situation, SDL audio output eats a 
little more CPU than oss output, so I started trying with every option 
mplayer has. Finally, I discovered that using -dapsync, the problem 
dissapears.
My sound card is a Neomagic 256ZX, running on a Dell Latitude CPT C333GT.
My actual version of MPlayer is 0.90pre6. This is a sample output:
