Hi.
I use xxx compiler. But it is 63 release, from MDK, so bugs that are mentioned 
in docs are probably fixed.. I run many programs, including kernel, compiled 
with that version with no problems.. If You think that this report is useless, 
dont read..


1.

I cant compile mplayer with:
../configure --enable-gui --disable-vidix --disable-cdparanoia --disable-mpdvdkit --disable-dvdnav --enable-i18n --disable-dvdread --disable-css --enable-tdfxfb --disable-arts --disable-alsa --with-win32libdir=/usr/local/lib/codec-mplayer --disable-xxx-checking --disable-tv --disable-libdv --disable-tv-v4l --disable-tv-bsdbt848


Error message:

Removing --disable-mpdvdkit helps. I have no dvd..

- X ver:
	XFree86 Version 4.1.0 / X Window System
	(protocol Version 11, revision 0, vendor release 6510)
- gcc:
	gcc version x.xx 20000731 (Mandrake Linux 8.1 x.xx-0.63.1mdk)
	GNU ld version 2.11.90.0.8 (with BFD 2.11.90.0.8)

- processor:
	AMD Athlon 1GHz,
- video card:
	3dfx Voodoo Banshee  (Elsa Victory II),
- video driver:
	X built in,
- snd card: 
	SB128PCI.
- Mplayer version: pre6.
	

Bugs (unimplemented features?):
- -vo tdfxfb does not work. I got fbset 1024x768-70 -depth 16. Mplayer starts, but i get no video, 
  only little square in left-top corner,
- -vo fbdev does not scale video (-x -y does has no effect, when i add -zoom Mplayer crashes),
- -vo ggi on fbcon does not scale (-x -y with / out -zoom)  all videos,
- with -vo ggi keyboard works in wired way (eg. '9' exits playing),
- -vo sdl on fbcon works only with avi files,
- -vo dga gives blank screen,
- -vo directfb  +  -x -y (with / without -zoom) worked on earlyier version (hmm 0.9.8 afair..), but on 0.9.12 it gives blank
  screen; it works without -x -y...
- can mplayer start with default 50% sound volume ?

As You can see, there is no fully functional framebuffer output :\
