1. use transcode ( use google to find it ), it has a tool to do it
2. try to do it with mencoder with forceidx:
cat file1.avi file2.avi | mencoder -forceidx.....
3. remember that the 2 files must have the same
height/width/codec/whatever
4. you should first try to find an answer in the archives :-)
