[MPlayer-users] Info - Vobsub subtitle colors, tridx, and such

Hi,
AFAIK vobsub subs are actually image, so when mplayer or any other player try
to display them. how can they know which pixel is background or text or
shadow, outline. And DVDs use a palette made up of 16 colors, though it seems
that they only use 4 of the colors. Maybe we should have a look at vobsub's
source ;)
