[MPlayer-users] Problem playing streaming divx

I have a strange problem with playing back divx streams generated by
ffmpeg (HTTP stream that is automaticaly modified on-the fly to be
realtime, to be used for video-conferencing)

The Problem is as follows:

playing the stream usualy works after a couple of tries and breaks, but
won't last longer than a few minutes at most. Downloading the stream with
wget and playing it from disk works fine. So does reconnecting to continue
the live stream.

There are no errors, it just hangs there as if the network went down.

There are ofcourse some frame-errors in the stream but they are likely
irrelevant as the codec doesn't crash and it works when getting the stream
with wget (which also gets the broken stream as it's generated on the
fly, depending on transfer rate)

Passing the stream (from http) as stdin stream generates the same results,
as does playing from localhost (where network bandwith is surely not the
problem) CPU time is not an issue, it maxes out at about 15-20%

Any ideas how to fix/workaround this?
