Yes! The sub overlap crap totally breaks microdvd subs that look like
this:

{start1}{}Sub1
{stop1}{}|
{start2}{}Sub2
{stop2}{}|

instead of:

{start1}{stop1}Sub1
{start2}{stop2}Sub2

IMO its brain damaged to have sub overlap on by default.
