[MPlayer-users] VRO file question... from your posting...

So far, I've just been creating an SVCD from each VRO file like this:
mencvcd sideAtest -noburn -cdsize 800 -svcdout -vnorm n -vfr 4 vr_movie.vro
To pull out specific scenes, I've been watching the vro file with
mplayer with the timer on ('o' key I believe) and making a note of the
times for start and end, then just adding the -ss and -endpos to the
above.
It would be nice if there was a way to read the ifo file, since it has
all that timeing info in it already, but oh well...

I tried everything and was able to view some of the .vro file using some editing software, but I got to a point where the movie was split into 2 screens running side by side... I assume this was because I changed the recording format (from extra fine to fine)... I would appreciate hearing how you handled this... Thanks in advance... Shane Freed

Our Cabbage Who Art in D.C.
In biology -- and the economy -- simple rules produce complex behaviors.
That's "simple" rules.
The Lord's Prayer is 66 words, the Gettysburg Address is 286 words,
there are 1,322 words in the Declaration of Independence, but government
regulations on the sale of cabbage total 26,911 words.
That's "cabbage." Cole slaw, we presume, is more complicated.
