[MPlayer-users] Playing multiple mpeg videos

When I create a playlist of multiple mpeg video files, mplayer displays
the console briefly between videos.
This is annoying.  Can anyone give me some guidance as to how to setup
mplayer to smoothly transition from one video to the next.
