[MPlayer-users] mencoder problem

  I am coverting a dvd movie to mpeg4 using mencoder, libavcodec and 
lame. I crop and scale the movie, but when I choose the scale resolution 
640x272 mencoder hangs.
  I compile mplayer and mencoder with debug information, run the debuger 
and atach it to the mencoder process, the debugger stops many times.
  The question is, how can I generate the necesary information from the 
debuger, in order to send to the developers of mplayer, so they can fix 
the problem, I am not an expert using gdb.
