[MPlayer-users] Feature suggestion

    First, I'd be remiss to say I'm less than anything less than 
tickled pink by mplayer. Recent support for Sorenson v3 means I don't 
need that brain dead, crappy QT Winsux player under Xover anymore.

    Now for my wish, hope it's doable. I've got a sh!+load of movies 
on CD and/or HDD. Most are only a few minutes long. I prefer to enter 
the /dir they're in an use mplayer on the CL. (mplayer -fs *) to play 
multiple files in order.

   OK, volume is adjustable with the '/' and '*' keys. Can, would 
y'all please, make 'brightness', and even 'contrast' similarly 
adjustable from the keyboard ?  Not only do my movies vary in sound 
level, they also vary in brightness. Usually too dark is the problem.
