[MPlayer-users] Mencoder -pass 2 makes avi unreadable for windows media player

After using mencoder with -pass 1 the test.avi can be read with windows media 
player without problems but after -pass 2 it does not work anymore. Media 
player does not recognize which video codec to use to decode you only get 
audio. mencoder is cvs from today, divx4 is 4.02 for Linux and 4.12 for 
Windows.

Any ideas why that is ?
