I hope, that is not the case. Are there any things I could do to find out if
the VCD is broken and maybe, what is broken?

OK, I again tried it with version 0.50, but that doesn't help. But at least
it is possible to play the files directly (even with 0.60). They look *very*
strange (and I can't recognise anything), but they are played. So here is
