Ok, then this changed after the last time I read the respecting part of
the Fine Manual.

New is an interface to the mjpegtools. I don't if they are good or fast
or both, since I don't create VCDs.

Isn't this just a mp3-deocer library? The one from mpg123-mp3-player?
