does anyone know if its possible to compile mplayer for windoze while still
in linux? does anyone have a working version and if so how did they do it???
i tried cygwin, mingw32, and that "djpp something or other" and i always ran
into problems. i wanted to get around the recompiling of all the codec
libraries and incompatibilities with other libraries that dont work without
others, glibc for example. i am a little new to programming languages but i
can usually fix a broken compile. i don't know if i have to edit the
makefile, one of the configure files or it's some special command line
parameter i havent been introduced to yet.
TIA

p.s. i'm not looking for binaries, only for help compiling
