[MPlayer-users] Default tv device

When  using tv with 'mplayer -tv on:driver=v4l',
mplayer tries to open /dev/video and reports 

unable to open '/dev/video': Is a directory
Select error : Bad file descriptor

The manpage of mplayer reports that the default device
is /dev/video0. Are both devices tried ?
The manpage should be updated then to :
- show the correct default device or
- say that both /dev/video and /dev/video0 are tried
by default.
