[MPlayer-users] mediocre results when dvd-ripping/encoding

Can you explain what is the result in such cases? I think there is a lack of
info about this switches and the result in the output. I.E. what will cause
using vqmin=2 instead of 1 in this case? smaller file? better quality? the
same quality but less time?
