[MPlayer-users] Crashing gmplayer

Hello,

I use mplayer quite a time, by the way, its the best player, I know! My
problem since pre5 is that i can't start the player with gui anymore. Compiling
runs just normal, and without gui everything is fine, but when starting with
"mplayer -gui" oder "gmplayer", I get the following:

MPlayer interrupted by signal 11 in module: unknown 
- MPlayer crashed by bad usage of CPU/FPU/RAM. Recompile MPlayer with
--enable-debug and make a 'gdb' backtrace and disassembly. For details, see
DOCS/bugreports.html section 5.b.
- MPlayer crashed. This shouldn't happen. It can be a bug in the MPlayer
code _or_ in your drivers _or_ in your gcc version. If you think it's MPlayer's
fault, please read DOCS/bugreports.html and follow instructions there. We
can't and won't help unless you provide these informations when reporting a
possible bug.

I already tried, to disable the runtime-cpudetection, but it didn't help.
I use the lastest SuSE Linux 8.0, Kernel 2.4.18, Intel P3 mobile 1Ghz.
Exactly 5 minutes later without changing anything on my system, I compiled
and ran pre4 with gui, without problems.
