Firstly using latest CVS  and I know GUI is alpha and I am trying to 
help you to improve it.

Steps to Produce Freezes :

1- Right Click -> Open -> Play VCD ( Make sure there is no VCD )
2-  Click ok for " /dev/cdrom not found" error
3-  Right Click -> Open -> File
4 - Now gui is frozen shows some entries under /dev and wont let you 
choose anything or exit.

Same goes for  "Play DVD" option .

System Information :

Window Manager : KDE 3

Slackware 8.0
