Below is that gdb output I promised Harrison.  Don't know why it says it
can't see any debugging symbols, since I recompiled with
--enable-debug=3, according to the bug reporting page.

Arpi, you're right about GL, though:  if I specify -V OpenGL in xine, it
works, but very poorly.  Anyway, xine/xv DVD playback is much smoother
than MPlayer-0.90pre4, so unless someone actually wants to look at this,
I guess I'll have to keep xine around for now.  (This is definitely
beyond my skills:  I just do Java.  :\  )
