[MPlayer-users] mencoder and black screen

Hi

I have a dvd I can't encode with mencoder. With the exact same options I
encoded another dvd.

Normally I get something like this when encoding:

Pos:5628.9s 135097f (64%) 181fps Trem:   6min 157mb  A-V:-0.034 [0:146]
duplicate 1 frame(s)!!!

But with that dvd I get "Skip frame!!!" instead! I can rip the sound
allright and the dvd play's fine. There is just something wrong with the
video ;) 

With :

mencoder -ovc copy -oac mp3lame -lameopts abr:br=160:q=2 -o frameno.avi
-dvd 1 -v

I get:

Pos:  12.4s    622f ( 0%) 525fps Trem:  14min 1664mb  A-V:-0.036
[1415:145] A/Vm

mplayer can't play that 2gb file. Just black screen.
