[MPlayer-users] Color of subtitles changed after streamdump

I experienced a strange effect with subtitles when watching
Episode I.

When playing subtitles directly from DVD, they are white
and with good contrast. After I dumped the whole stream to
harddisc and playing it from there in the same way, they
turned dark and nearly unreadable.

I tried the '-ffactor' option without any success. The
option doesn't change anything.

It was the first time I used subtitles, so I don't know if
this does happen with all discs.

Maybe anyone can give me a hint?
