[MPlayer-users] mplayer bug? gtk bug?

Hi

my problem began someday after CVS May-23. Whenever i
tried to run mplayer with the gui, it segfaulted. Ok i
thought, its the cvs, some bug creeped there, so i
waited for the next release. pre5 didn't seem to solve
that so, i'm convinced: it's a bug, or i'm somewhere
incompatible. My system is a slackware-8.0 running
2.4.17. Anyway, here's the bt:

(anyway, yes i was running mozilla at the time!)

so, it looks like it's gtk. Or isn't it? Am i the only
one having this problem?

the mplayer -v does not give any info, just some dirs
checked so i did not include it here. If it's needed
