[MPlayer-users] mplayer & subtitles problems for me

Hey,


There appears to be a bug in the sub-engine of mplayer (latest cvs):

when:
mplayer somedummy.avi -sub lotr1-24010\ DEF.txt  -subdelay 1 -subfps 24
-dumpsrtsub

it saves the subtitles in a file just before launching the movie ok.

but it's converting it a wrong way!

since they are basded on the fram numbers
not on the time!

Also, i have another sub-version, which is directly derivated from the
dvd .ifo & .sub
those are totally unusable!: 

mplayer lotr-cd1.avi -vobsub lotr-cd1 -vobsubid 1


when playing, no subs are shown, when seeking:

SPUasm: invalid fragment
SPUasm: invalid frag len / len2: 1889 / 0 
SPUasm: packet too short
SPUasm: invalid fragment
SPUasm: invalid fragment
SPUasm: invalid fragment
SPUasm: invalid frag len / len2: 1573 / 0 

I agree the provided subs are maybe broken (i have no dvd reader, so
i've never played with dvds&mplayer)... But what if they were not?

PS: mplayer has also very big A/V sync problems on the files u/l at:

( how-highfr.avi and allymcbealep1vf.avi )

PPS: i'm too dub to fix it, so i'm just reporting it ;)
