i've just tested -vo xv and -vo xvidix on my system with pre5, and it
works sometimes. sometimes meaning if i put my mouse pointer in the
xterm-window. if i put the pointer in the movie window, nothing happens on
using the keys 1,2,..,8. but i can change OSD-level and change sound,
seek in the movie. this is annoying when i go into fullscreen mode (toggle
it with f or enable with -fs), then i don't have any control of
brightness, contrast, sat and hue. (the others still work). is this a
window-manager problem? can anyone reproduce this?
i have

MPlayer 0.90pre5-2.95.3

[stdweird at carl stdweird]$ rpm -q sawfish
sawfish-1.0-6mdk

[stdweird at carl stdweird]$ uname -a
Linux carl.rug.ac.be 2.4.17 #1 Fri Jan 4 16:56:49 CET 2002 i686 unknown

[stdweird at carl stdweird]$ lspci -v

(prog-if 00 [VGA])
Subsystem: ATI Technologies Inc: Unknown device 0008

	Memory at d4000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=64M]

Expansion ROM at <unassigned> [disabled] [size=128K]

(ooooh, what a complete bugreport. :)) will make one if noone can
reproduce this.)
