[MPlayer-users] DVD Ripping.

When I mencode dvd to harddrive, it does it as a divx format I think. 
I've tried other ways but it won't play the game.
It seems that "mencoder -v -dvd 2 -chapter 1-2 -aid 128 -o chapter.mpg" 
is the only thing that works, yet I suspect that it is in avi and not 
mpg as I ask for.
